Kathryn + Brian were married this past August at the stunning and historical Denver Country Club, which was built in 1905. I’m a huge sucker for older, more vintage locations like this one, so naturally, I was more than ecstatic when I got an email from Kathryn asking me to photograph her wedding. It is such a gorgeous, local venue and I hope to shoot there again.
Kathryn + Brian are two of the kindest, most down-to-earth people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Kathryn has traveled the world and in the instant that you meet her, you just know that she is a good person. Brian matches Kathryn’s free spirit perfectly as he loves the outdoors and traveling as well (they went to Turkey for their honeymoon; um…jealous). Additionally, Brian’s quite th Spiderman fan, and that’s always a good thing.
I am so happy to have spent Kathryn + Brian’s vintage wedding day with them, and I just love how the photos turned out. We got lucky with blue skies all around and only a sprinkling of rain by the time guests made it to the reception tent. I’ve never seen a wedding as elegantly styled as this one; Kathryn + Brian did an outstanding job with the décor and putting it all together. I mean, how many weddings have you been to that feature a performance be a local group of hip-hop dancers?!
Congratulations again to the happy couple! Enjoy my favorites below, and thank you for stopping by the blog!

Lindsay Miller - Hi Ashley,
I LOVE your photos! I am the wedding choreographer from Streetside Dance Studios that worked with Kathryn and Brian, her dad and their wedding party on creating their wedding dances.
You got some really great photos of all them dancing and I am wondering if I can post some of these photos on my facebook page (of course crediting you and including a link to your website).
Please let me know and thank you for taking such amazing pictures!
