This past August, I traveled to Las Vegas for a mini-vacation. While I was there, I put on my Denver fashion photographer hat and scheduled a shoot with Emma, a lovely model who lives in the area. We went to Symphony Park near Downtown Vegas, as we both wanted a non-traditional Vegas setting for the shoot (i.e. no Strip photos).
I have been looking to up my fashion photography game and I’m so glad to have collaborated with Emma for this shoot! It was definitely a challenge to shoot in an unfamiliar location in a completely different city + state, with only one camera body + one lens (my trusty Sigma 35 Art), no assistant and no lighting help. I appreciate shoots like this because it fully brings me out of my element and I’m forced to test my skills and grow my craft as an aspiring fashion photographer.
Thank you so much to the stunning + sweet Emma for modeling for me! I really enjoyed working with her, as she brought such fun + funky pieces to the shoot from her own personal wardrobe collection. Crop tops are definitely in style and she rocked them all!
