Denver Senior Portrait Photographer | Sammy

As a Denver senior portrait photographer and former high school teacher, I’ve photographed my share of super sweet + fabulous senior students in my day. One of my most favorite sessions to date has been this one, with this awesome girl. Sammy was a junior rep for me this past spring, and it’s been so awesome to bring this full circle and photograph her as a real, live senior.

For her senior portrait session, we went to Civic Center Park and got some stunning images in the evening sun. I’m so happy that Sammy chose to do her senior portraits with me! She even brought along one of her very best friends, who she calls Frenchie, to the shoot. I love best friends portraits, and these two are so cute together.

Congratulations to Sammy on her senior year at Northglenn High School! I’m so excited for her to finish up her final year of secondary education and hit the ground running towards her dreams this coming May.

What are you most looking forward to your senior year? I’m mostly looking forward to growing as a person and leading my school as a senior. I’m excited to attend all the sporting events and assemblies!

What are your post-high school plans? After high school, I plan to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder! I’m planning on applying to their Law Program.

What do you love most about Northglenn High School? Something I really love about my school is the teachers! They are always there to help whenever you need it, and they become people you look up to.

Which sports + activities do you participate in? This will be my third year on my high school’s Varsity Red Hot Poms Team!

Favorite subject? History!

What one piece of advice would you give to any seniors looking to get their senior photos done this summer? If you’re a senior girl getting your senior pictures taken soon, make sure to wear outfits that make you feel like yourself! If you play a sport, don’t forget to get portraits done in your uniform! One last thing, don’t forget to smile!
