Denver Senior Portrait Photographers | Nicole

Of all the senior portrait photographers in Denver, this girl picked me — can I just say that real quick? :)

In my last year as a teacher at Northglenn High School, I was so lucky to teach French III, which is where I met this stunning young lady. Nicole had transferred over to NHS from a different school in the district for her junior year, and I know that many other teachers will agree with me when I say that Northglenn is so fortunate to have Nicole as a senior this coming year. She’s a very bright, sweet and inspirational woman whom I’m proud to call my friend.

Next year at Northglenn, Nicole is taking two AP classes (biology + literature) in addition to improving her already awesome French skills by taking French IV. In her free time, she’s very active with exercise and eating right. She is a champion of staying fit and treating your body well, and I most certainly look up to her discipline + motivation when it comes to staying in shape.

I am so excited for this little lady and all that she plans to do with her future. I hope you love some of the favorites from our session together and I am proud to introduce to you, for the first time ever, Nicole: Official Urban Safari Senior Model!

Mini-interview with Urban Safari Senior Model: Nicole

What are you most looking forward to your senior year? I am most looking forward to the football games and powderpuff [girls touch football] and just being able to be called a senior. I also am most excited to get to know more people around Northglenn because it will be my second and last year at the school.

What are your post-high school plans? My post high school plan is to go to CU Boulder and study health and wellness to hopefully be able to inspire and teach girls how to be fit and confident.

What do you love about your high school? I love Northglenn because the school spirit is unbelievable. When I transferred to Northglenn I was looking for a positive place to settle and what I found was a family. At my first football game as a Norse, I was shocked how we could get our butts kicked but still all be proud that we are all Norsemen.

Which activities do you participate in at Northglenn High? I participate in FLSO [a club dedicated to giving scholarship funds to charitable causes created by students at Northglenn High] and was one of the officers for the club. My responsibility was to record all of the meetings and bring up future plans in the next meeting. Outside of school I enjoy running, weightlifting and volunteering at my dad’s church.

Favorite subject? My favorite subject in school is anatomy. I love knowing how the body works and consider learning about the human body as one of my passions.

What is one piece of advice you can give other high school seniors who are about to do their senior photos? My advice for future senior girls doing senior portraits is to make sure to bring a lot of clothes because we found ourselves swapping clothes with one another! Also, be yourself and have fun while taking the pictures.

Special thank-you to Chelsea Elle of MENTE Freelance for doing Nicole’s flawless hair + makeup for this session!
