Antonio’s urban dance shoot is like none other that I’ve done in the past. For this specific dance shoot, we chose an empty parking structure off in Capitol Hill as our main venue for the photos. I love that Antonio chose bright, vibrant colors for his outfits to provide excellent contrast against the winter-white backdrop.

We started with a light dusting of snow and ending with a full-on blizzard. I love how you can see the progression of the weather from the start of the shoot until the end, where the snowflakes morphed from cute additions to the photo to almost completely overtaking the images. I think snow is one of the most photogenic elements you can add into a photo, and despite how challenging it can be to shoot in snow (the camera often focuses on the snowflakes and not the subject of the photo), I always love the outcome.
